Last Rites & Sacrament of the Sick
All hospitals in the Ottawa area have a priest on call to respond to urgent needs within one hour. If you are a parishioner that would like to pre-plan an anointing prior to surgery or during a serious illness, please call the parish office by phone by email.(Please give us 24-48 hours notice.)

Questions about Death and End of Life Care?
Our program “Horizons of Hope: A Toolkit for Catholic Parishes on Palliative Care” takes place today, April 26, and continues on May 3, from 1:00 – 5:00 PM.
Our faith in Jesus Christ has much to teach us about living well until the end of life. This program will help parishioners, caregivers, and family members facing a terminal illness learn more about palliative care.
Topics include:
- Understanding the dying process
- Discernment and decision-making at the end of life
- Accompaniment
- The importance of building Compassionate Communities

Ministers of Communion and Readers Needed
We are in need of more people to assist with the distribution of Holy Communion at Mass.
We also need more readers for the weekend Masses.
Scheduled about once a month. Training is provided.
